Sodium

Sodium is the first developmental level where the skill or trait can be a subject which has an object. The entity which has the developmental object at this level does not distinguish the property from perceptions of it. It can be thought of as a play version of the skill and those who use it at this are said to be playing at the skill. Things which they make in this period are known as toys.

Both simple proficiencies and talents can be tasks at the sodium level. They cannot yet be combined with other tasks. They can have state and can (in the case of talents) modify such state.

At the sodium level of development, the perceptions are not affected by the imitation nature of this play, but needs may actually be hurt because they are not being met. The entity may be so satifisfied with their activity they are willing to make such a sacrifice.

The atomic symbol for Sodium is Na. The Atomic Number for sodium is 11. Sodium's Atomic Weight is 22.99.
