The Ruminate family of languages includes:
- Bovine? -- a very simple language used by cows.
- developmental level -- 13
- Asinine? -- used by donkeys, asses and mules.
- Equine? -- used by horses (usually to boss cows around).
- developmental level -- 41
- Centrine? -- used by centaurs.
- developmental level -- 64
- centaurs have developed the use of staves held in their hands to increase the number of phonemes beyond what four-footed creatures can manage
- the most recent development is the addition of vocal speech as a kind of inflection added to the meaning of the foot and staff
