The Ogham letter Pethboc corresponds to the thirteenth column of the Periodic Table and to Group IIIA?. This means that it relates to Commensal Laudation, the eco-relation (+,0), and the current vocabulary.

The "tree" which is associated with Group IIIA is the reed, with unbroken reeds (straight only) used for magical purposes.

The letter is represented by four lines crossing the centerline which are blocked off on both sides. The letter Pethboc is found at Group IIIA of Ogham's Period 2 while the word "pethboc" is found at Group IIIA of Period 1.
