The Genesis of Nonlinear-Systems Science
The rare earths cannot be fully understood without first examining the elements of Group VIIIB (under Iron, Cobalt and Nickel) where the first hints of internal distinctions which do not result in external (chemical or valence) differences.
The Next Three -- Neptunium, Plutonium and Americium
A similar phenomenon occurs in the middle of the second group of rare earths.
Another Example of the Second Kind of Series
This occurs in a group of three located within the rare earths, rather than directly under Iron, Cobalt and Nickel. But it shares many properties with those directly under the VIIIB group.
Under Promethium, Samarium and Europium
The second sub-series begins in the middle of the fourth series of internal distinctions within the rare earths of the Interindividual Balance, where sub-Group VIII (starting with Neptunium? and evolving into Plutonium? and Americium?) introduces the minor crisis known as a "crisis of faith."
This crisis of faith occurs when the individual becomes aware principles are emergent within his persona which is now being created out of those principles. In order to be consciously aware of this process, the persona must be aware that a principle can come into existence where it didn't exist before. Since the persona must observe creation of that which it conceives itself to be defined out of, it must doubt both the existence of self (independent of its own creativity) and the existence of its gods.
To resolve this crisis, an emergent sub-sub-entity begins to emerge which is capable of bootstrapping its own creation through a process of infinite regression. This also implies that such creation is possible for infinitely higher levels of abstraction and consciousness.
The emergent sub-sub-entities are fractally-generated emergent objects. Without them, the interindividual self cannot develop further. Such awareness of emergence emerges in sacrificial satisfaction (Neptunium) and must mature into evangelical predation (Americium) before the individual can develop further. Interestingly enough, again this is enough for the Interindividual Balance's limited needs from set of emergent objects because of their fractal nature.
Because the God fractal such a high-level sub-sub-entity capable of self-representation, the individual never needs a more fully developed fractal on which to base its conception of self. The Final Crisis returns once again to the elements directly under Iron, Cobalt and Nickel.
