Earth over Mountain

THE JUDGEMENT
MODESTY creates success.
The superior man carries things through.

THE IMAGE
Within the earth, a mountain:
The image of MODESTY.
Thus the superior man reduces that which is too much,
And augments that which is too little.
He weighs things and makes them equal.

Modesty creates the most significant kinds of success. By being modest about what we are, we are better able to become what we might be. Before this change we were out of balance with the world around us. After this change we have re-established balance by taking something we thought was part of our self and recognizing it is something we have, not something we are. Great match.
