Masterpiece Statistic Enhancement

Each element of the master's level allows one statistic to be enhanced in the someone using the object being forged. Only primary statistics can be so enhanced, but of course this allows the secondary statistic to rise to that same level.

In other words, a master's tool or weapon can be made so that one statistic can be enhanced by wielding the item. Each element allows her to choose one primary statistic she can enhance. The choice to learn to enhance a statistic precludes imbument of tasks associated with the group and series (A or B) on the periodic table? as the element at which she learns it.

As the master advances through her mastery, she can enhance more primary statistics with her items (although only one can be enhance per item). The real limit is the number of primary statistics (three) which are part of character objects to enhance. Thus, by the end of her time as a master, she may be able to enhance any of three primary statistics via her masterpieces.

Of course, any enhancement of a statistic precludes skill and task imbuement, but does not preclude {Journey-Piece Skill Enhancementskill enhancement} or {Journey-Piece Enchantment Enablementenchantment enablement}, and does not preclude task or trait enhancement.

Note that when you gain a level (except on the genius path) you must learn the enhancement (or enableement or protection or imbuement) from a master who already knows it. This means that someone who learns from a single master will reflect that master's style almost exactly for most of their development, while someone who learns from a variety of sources (as in a guild) will have more options.
