Inclusions
Gems of the Earth's Genius
Most inclusions are considered flaws in a jewel's quality. A few enhance the value (like the pictures in mocha stone? or the parallel rutile inclusions ("silk") which produce star sapphires? or cat's-eye beryls ("cymophane?").
But only those which achieve a true gem-within-a-gem quality are considered true evidences of the genius of the earth. Most Inclusions are found in zircon? or heliodor? or any of the "outer jewels" listed below. The included jewel can come from either the "outer jewel" or the "included jewel" columns. Triple inclusions also have an "innermost jewel" as listed below.
