Group IA
The first column of the Periodic Table corresponds to Group IA. This means that it relates to Sacrificial Satisfaction, the eco-relation (0,-), and the vocabulary of the current balance.
The tree which is associated with Group IA is birch, with the bark being used for magical purposes as well as bundles of birch twigs.
The letter Beth of the Ogham alphabet is found at Group IA of Ogham's Period 2.
Magic
The magic associated with Group IA is usually related to simple illusion:
- love spells
- illusions
- simple creation
- driving away evil spirits
These are seen as being based on the will to believe which drives those who are newly introduced to some interesting new concept or idea.
