Foci

Foci are objects that can transmute Mana into other forms of energy, transfer it from one location to another, and cause it to have an effect in the world (ie., generate Events). They are one of the three types of component in the metamagic system, and part of the definition of a magical genre is the specification of what constitutes a Focus.
