The Three Fates

The three fates -- Clothos, Lachesis and Atropos -- are the producers of story as it resides in the soul of every character and as it resides in every object which has quality.

Every character and object is constantly subjected to a series of events which must be woven into stories to give them meaning in the overall scheme of Faerie MUD?. Clothos weaves them into story-threads. Lachesis measures them for their importance and relevance. And Atropos cuts off those which are no longer part of the overall story of the character or of the object.
