Commensal Laudation

Eco-Relation (+,0)

Eco-Relations are expressed in ecological terms, in emotional reactions, and in subject-object interactions. They are also associated with the seasons of a particular period's development.

The ecological term for the laudation stage is commensalism (eating at the same table). The subject-object pair related to this term is (+,0). It implies that the subject for that particular period benefits from the interaction while the object is neither helped nor harmed.

The emotional term associated with commensalism is laudation. It generally implies a desire to praise others for the degree to which they have accepted the current balance. This tendency to propose toasts abounds in a Developmental Object? results from a realization that the earlier need to convince others to adopt this period is best served by encouragement rather than criticism.
