Calcium
Calcium is the second developmental level where the subject is defined as wishes which have perceptions (the object of the skill or trait). The novice which has the developmental object at this level does not distinguish the property from its wishes about it. It can be thought of as a newbie version of the skill and those who use it at this are said to have no standards. Things which they make in this period are known as crude copies.
Both simple proficiencies and talents can be tasks at the calcium level. They can have state and can (in the case of talents) modify such state.
At the calcium level of development, the wishes are encouraged by the crude nature of this novice skill, but perceptions may actually be hurt because the character is not letting perceptions of the crude creation interfere. The novice may be so satifisfied with their activity they are telling others about its advantages, ignoring any perceptions which might detract from their evangelism.
This is also the first level of development where vocabulary? is important. People operating at the calcium level of development will insist on using the terminology emphasizing their wishes. They will tend to prefer autocratic declarations of their own will and respect such in others. This may be frightening or depressing in those approaching the level (in period 1) and may provoke anger in them.
The atomic symbol for calium is Ca. The Atomic Number for calcium is 20. Calcium's Atomic Weight is 40.08.
