Benign Warding

Eco-Relation (0,+)

Eco-Relations are expressed in ecological terms, in emotional reactions, and in subject-object interactions. They are also associated with the seasons of a particular period's development.

A term which has been suggested for the ecological expression of benign warding stage is allotrophy which means "feeding the other." The subject-object pair is related to this term. For instance, allotrophy's pair (0,+) implies that the subject for that particular period neither benefits from nor is harmed by the interaction while the object benefits.

The emotional term associated with warding is benifaction. It generally implies a desire to protect and preserve some perceived benefit even though it may no longer help the protector. The benign goals which abound in such a Developmental Object? results from the need to continue productivity as long as possible.

Note to those for whom these terms carry emotional baggage:

If the term "benign" carries a positive connotation for you, please understand that such a connoted meaning is intended to be implied here to a limited degree. Allotrophy is not entirely a value-neutral term in the science of ecology.

Such relations are necessary to most (if not all) functioning ecosystems. It is in this explicitly denoted sense that we use the terminology here. We use the term to discuss that substage of the development of Developmental Objects? within a period where the Developmental Object is likely protect weaker objects in the same area.

Groups

Two Groups on the periodic table are associated with Benign Warding: Group VB? and Group VA?
