Ash

The eleventh sacred tree is the ash with broomstick-length rods used for magickal purposes. Ash grows in upland groves with thin bark. Its flowers have no petals, but bear one seed with a wing.

Ash is the tree of control over water.

Ash is associated with the letter Nion of the Ogham alphabet. Ash corresponds to Group IB? on the Periodic Table (the eleventh column).
