Animated Objects
Animated objects are a type of Composed Object which can be possessed or controlled by a Spirit.
In order to possess an Animated Object, the Spirit (or the player behind it) must know the object's true name and possess a sufficient quantity of Presence (one of the spirit's immortal statistics).
Affinities
Animated objects have an affinity for their own Spirit (or more than one Spirit in the case of Covenants), which allows a Spirit to animate it with greatly reduced Presence. Affinities develop in an Animated Object at the object's "birth" or through continued contact.
