An example of a covenant, alliances are made up of political units which have undertaken an OathMaking? event together.

Statistics and Attributes

Like all composed objects, alliances have statistics and attributes which define its qualities.

Statistics for generic covenant objects are:

  • Functionhold:
    • Primary -- the underlying thing that defines the purpose of the covenant: the quest, the skills, the branches of magic
    • Secondary -- the current activities being undertaken to achieve that purpose
  • Formhold:
    • Primary -- the charter, philosophies and traditions which define the true form of the covenant
    • Secondary -- the physical structures and material sources which which those outside define the covenant's form (can be affected by ley-lines and other temporary phenomena)
  • OrderHold?:
    • Primary -- the actual membership, taking into account relevant proficiencies as well as sheer numbers
    • Secondary -- the support and supplies available to the covenant from the surrounding communities
